Watermarks are like a digital finger print embedded in an audio file. They don't effect the sound and are injected several times throughout the track. Watermarking preparation is automatically performed when you upload your tracks into a promo.

When a suspect audio file is found and submitted to us, we will scan it for you. If our watermarks are there, we can pinpoint the person in your contact list who was the original listener as well as their location when they consumed the audio.
